Puzzle-Piece Appliqué Workshop
with internationally-known textile artist Ermán

September 23, 2000
At The Arts Center
719 Central Avenue, downtown St. Petersburg, FL

Miami artist Ermán will lead this one-day workshop on the fabrication process of “puzzling”. Participants will combine textile pieces of various colors and shapes with a satin stitch appliqué to create a feeling of stained glass or mosaics. Ermán will discuss ways that this unique appliqué technique can be incorporated into many different fiber works such as art-to-wear, quilts, and books.
