Heat of the Moment, an exibition of fine craft works by six members of Florida Craftsmen, opens July 7, 2006, in Florida Craftsmen's Klien Family Gallery at the state-wide craft organization headquarters at 501 Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg.

An opening reception for the artists is set for 6 to 9 pm Friday, July 7, 2006, at the gallery.

The six artists, selected for their craftsmanship and unique style, are:

  • Chuck Boux, St. Petsrsburg, hand-blown glass vessels and sculptural works
  • Carole Hetzel, West Palm Beach, baskets formed with woven reeds and steel cable
  • Kristin Holeman, Ft. Lauderdale, cloisonné jewelry
  • Duncan McClellan, Tampa, hand-blown glass vessels amd sculptural works
  • Sang Roberson, Ormond Beach, clay vessels
  • Matthew Steckley, Coral Gables, furniture designer and maker
