CraftArts 2002 Festival

$20,000 in Awards to be Given

Over $20,000 in awards is allocated for CraftArts 2002 Festival.

Juror Mary M. McElwain, fine arts consultant from St. Louis, will be this year’s distinguished juror, charged with selecting the top 15 artists in the festival.

Patron Purchase Awards, coined ‘Collector’s Choice’ Awards, are purchases made by collectors the weekend of the festival. These patrons are provided with a wonderful Saturday morning Patron’s Breakfast on the Verandah of Plant Hall, overlooking the festival, and also are allowed early entry into the festival Saturday morning.

Additional Patrons Wanted

Florida Craftsmen is soliciting additional patrons to participate by making a pledge of $250 or more toward purchases made at the festival that day. Ribbons are provided to the artists with the patron’s name or company name printed on the ribbons.

It is a great opportunity to support CraftArt and its artists, plus lets the participating artists know that there are definite sales coming their way!

If you are interested in the Collector’s Choice Awards program, please contact Florida Craftsmen Director Michele Tuegel for a patron packet. Your support of this program is appreciated.
