Exhibition/Summer Show
July 6 – August 24, 2001

Exhibition Guidelines:
1. Slide Submissions may include up to three artworks. Each work may be represented by up to two slides, with the second slide showing a detail shot of the work. Slides must be color, 2 X 2 inch 35mm format in cardboard or plastic mounts. Each slide must be clearly labeled with the following information:

· Artist’s name
· Title of work
· Date of work
· Dimensions
· Slide # corresponding to number of entry form in upper right corner of front view, arrow indicating top front of piece.

Slides of work declined for exhibition will be returned to artist. Slides of work accepted for exhibition will be retained by Florida Craftsmen, Inc. for educational slide presentations, future marketing efforts, and permanent documentation.

2. Slides are due in the FC office no later than May 5, 2001. 
A completed information form, Current FC dues, slides, notification card, and a self-addressed stamped envelope (55 cents) for return of slides must be included. There is NO entry fee! Photocopies of this form are acceptable. Mail in one packet to:

3. Sales will be encouraged. Florida Craftsmen will retain a 45% commission on all sales directly related to the exhibition. All works must be for sale and must state insurance value on the information form.

To showcase fine contemporary ceramics by artists in each of the nine designated area of Florida. The exhibition is intended to showcase both innovative and traditional expressions of contemporary ceramics by Florida artists throughout the state. Locally, the exhibition will also celebrate St. Petersburg Clay Company’s move to a new, larger location. Florida Craftsmen is a statewide, not-for-profit arts service organization established in 1952 to encourage recognition of fine contemporary craftwork through exhibitions, educational opportunities, and statewide craft activities. In keeping with this mission, excellent craftsmanship, concept and design will be criteria used in the selection of works for Clay Rocks!

Artist Eligibility
Clay Rocks! Is open to ceramic artists 18 years of age or older who is a current member of Florida Craftsmen, Inc. and a resident of Florida. Non-members become eligible upon payment of Florida Craftsmen dues. Students are encouraged. If not current, annual dues must be received along with this form and are effective for one year from date of receipt.

Work Eligible
A maximum of three works per artist may be submitted for consideration. Entries must be original, executed within the last two years, and not previously shown in a Florida Craftsmen exhibition. Two artists from each region/area of Florida will be selected for Clay Rocks!

August 31 Shipped work returned to artists or work must be picked up no later than
